Thank you for your interest in participating in Flying Quarter Ltd Events. Before you proceed to purchase tickets, we strongly recommend you review the following event ticketing terms and conditions:

Within these Terms and Conditions, words like ‘holder,’ ‘bearer,’ and ‘purchaser’ refer to you, the person who will buy the tickets to Flying Quarter Events. Terms like ‘our,’ ‘us,’ ‘we,’ ‘issuer,’ ‘provider,’ and similar terms refer to the organisers of Flying Quarter Events, which is Flying Quarter Ltd.

  1. By opting to purchase, allocate, or possess tickets to any Flying Quarter Event, you automatically agree to our terms of use. If you disagree with any of the clauses listed below, please do not purchase tickets or attempt to enter the Manston Airfield premises.

  2. Flying Quarter Ltd reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add or remove sections from this set of terms and conditions without prior notice. Changes will be reflected on the organiser’s website, flyingquarter.co.uk. These changes will apply as of the date of your ticket purchase for any Flying Quarter Event.

  3. The price of one Flying Quarter Event ticket is as per shown on the purchase page. This amount is non-negotiable.

  4. The ticket you purchase represents a revocable license for you to access Manston Airfield from June 28th, 2024, to June 30th, 2024, when Flying Quarter – June 2024 is scheduled to take place. The license includes the revocable right to attend the event. This license can be revoked at any time by the issuer at its sole discretion, without any prior notice or compensation. If the license is revoked, you will not be granted entry at the venue.

  5. The bearer is responsible for the Flying Quarter Event tickets once they receive them. Flying Quarter Ltd is not liable for any loss, theft, damage, destruction, or other issues that render the tickets unusable.

  6. Please note that Flyingquarter.co.uk is the sole authorised source for purchasing Flying Quarter Event tickets. If you obtain your tickets from any unauthorised source, you accept the risk that they may be counterfeit or reported stolen. The issuer may dishonour such stolen or counterfeit tickets and declare them void.

  7. The Flying Quarter Event tickets delivered to you cannot be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. You cannot use the ticket(s) for promotional or advertising purposes (including sweepstakes and competitions) without our prior approval. Proven records of such activities will result in the immediate seizure and cancellation of your ticket(s).

  8. The Flying Quarter Event tickets delivered to you cannot be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. You cannot use the ticket(s) for promotional or advertising purposes (including sweepstakes and competitions) without our prior approval. Proven records of such activities will result in the immediate seizure and cancellation of your ticket(s).

  9. Flying Quarter Event tickets cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.

  10. Flying Quarter Ltd reserves the right to investigate any violation of the Flying Quarter Event ticketing terms and conditions. In case of any conflicts, the decision of Flying Quarter Ltd will be final (i.e., the issuer will remain the final arbiter in disputes).

  11. The event will be deemed to have been delivered in its entirety once Flying Quarter Event has began. After that point, no refund requests will be entertained.

  12. If you cannot access any particular section(s) of Manston Airfield due to delays, federal regulations, organiser policies, weather-related problems, emergencies, venue shutdowns or evacuations, or other reasons, you will not be eligible for any refunds or future credits.

  13. If Flying Quarter Events are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, Flying Quarter Ltd reserves the right to:

    1. Reschedule the event;
    2. Issue a partial or full refund;
    3. Not issue any refunds.

  14. The decision of the issuer in such cases will be final and binding.

  15. If a Flying Quarter Event is cancelled due to factors outside the issuer’s control, the latter may offer a partial or full refund, postpone the event, or provide a comparable alternative option. Such factors include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, government announcements, strikes, production delays, and similar issues. Once again, the decision of Flying Quarter Ltd will be final.

  16. If the Flying Quarter Event must be rescheduled to other dates, you will not be eligible for refunds. If the event is fully cancelled, any refund, if issued, will include only the face value/printed value of the ticket(s). Bearers cannot claim refunds for shipping, processing, handling fees, or other charges.

  17. Purchasers must bear any losses occurring due to foreign exchange fluctuations at the time of refunds. Flying Quarter Ltd cannot be held liable for such losses.

  18. All ticket sales are final transactions; there will be no returns, exchanges, or cancellations.

  19. The Flying Quarter Ltd is a ‘rain or shine’ event. By purchasing tickets, you confirm that you/the attendee(s) are of legal age or older at the time of ticket purchase. The minimum age for attending a Flying Quarter Event is 5 years old, with legal guardians present.

  20. If it is proven at the venue that an attendee is below the minimum age, entry to a Flying Quarter Event will be denied. No refunds, full or partial, will be issued.

  21. Upon entering the event venue, you must present the ticket and a valid ID. By providing an ID, you confirm that all details on it are accurate and up-to-date.

  22. By purchasing Flying Quarter Event tickets and presenting them at the venue, you consent to Flying Quarter Ltd collecting certain information about you (name, picture, date of birth, gender, address, etc.) for verification and storage.

  23. You agree to forgo all claims to surcharge refunds, whether full or partial, as well as all claims and entitlements related to such surcharges.

  24. Flying Quarter Ltd is not responsible for personal or financial damages you may suffer at the venue, nor for lost, stolen, or misplaced items. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained.

  25. We and Flying Quarter Ltd follow a ‘zero-tolerance policy’ towards unauthorised drug use or possession at the venue, as well as any behaviour that can be deemed lewd or obscene. If found with prohibited items or engaging in objectionable behaviour, your participation in the event will be terminated immediately, and your tickets will become void.

  26. You purchase Flying Quarter Event tickets of your own free will. As such, you have no right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute with the credit/debit card provider used for the transaction. Refund/return/cancellation requests will also not be entertained.

  27. In all disputes between the ticket-bearer and the ticket-issuer, the decision of the latter will be final. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the help of an independent third-party arbiter will be sought.

Mandatory Bag Check

  1. All attendees must complete a mandatory bag check upon entry to Manston Airfield for Flying Quarter Ltd events.

  2. Bag checks will be conducted to ensure compliance with safety and security measures, including the prohibition of unauthorised items and substances.

  3. Unauthorised items include, but are not limited to, weapons, illegal drugs, glass containers, and any other items that may pose a threat to safety or violate event policies.

  4. Any attendee found with unauthorised items during the bag check will be required to dispose of the items or leave the venue. Reentry with such items is strictly prohibited.

  5. Flying Quarter Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to any attendee who refuses to comply with the mandatory bag check.

  6. The organiser, venue, and security personnel will not be held responsible for any items lost or misplaced during the bag check.

  7. By purchasing tickets to Flying Quarter Ltd events and entering the venue, you consent to the mandatory bag check and agree to comply with all safety and security policies.

  1. ANNOUCEMENT
    Restricted competitions will be organised by the FLYING QUARTER Ltd to be held under the NORA 92 Sprint Regulations and Code of Practice and any other Final Instructions subsequently issued or Official Announcements made.

  3. ELIGIBILITY
    All competitors must hold a NORA 92 Sprint Licence or One Event Licence. One Event competition licences are available from the FLYING QUARTER, UK residents only. Licences must be produced when signing on.

  5. INSURANCE
    The FLYING QUARTER Ltd undertakes to insure each rider and passenger, indemnifying him/her against any third-party claims made arising out of the sprints or official practise, excluding claims by other drivers or passengers, entrant, sponsor or mechanic.

  6. CANCELLATION
    Entry fees will only be returned at the FLYING QUARTER Ltd ‘s discretion if the meeting is cancelled, postponed or abandoned more than 24 hours prior to the meeting. A competitor who cancels their entry 72 hours or less before the event will not receive a refund. A cancellation between 72 hours and 1 week, prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. The FLYING QUARTER Ltd reserves the right to increase or add charges due to the circumstances beyond its control. Booking fees are non-refundable

  7. CLASSES
    Motorcycle solo – Up to 250cc, Up to 500cc. Up to 750cc, up to 1000cc, unlimited
    Sidecars and 3 wheelers – unlimited
    Cars – unlimited

  8. COURSE
    The Course have a metalled surface. Course length may be reduced at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. Every competitor indicates he/she is satisfied that the course and braking area are suitable for him/her and his/her machine by signing on. Competitors may only ride in reverse direction to racing when using the Return Road.

  9. TECHNICAL VERIFICATION
    Will take place from 8am onwards or as detailed in the final instructions. Competitors are to present themselves fully clothed in leathers, helmet etc. with their machines as for racing at technical verification. Old technical verification stickers must be removed. Back protectors MUST be worn. It is recommended that bras are NOT of the underwired type. Metal tyre valves caps are to be fitted

  10. BRIEFING
    At the discretion of the Clerk of the Course, a competitors briefing will be held before racing begins. Engines may NOT be run before the competitors briefing or after the completion of racing.

  11. STARTING
    All runs will be started by clocks activated when the front wheel passes a light beam. A demonstration of the starting procedure will be given at the competitors briefing.

  12. FINISHING
    At the completion of a run all competitors must leave the course in accordance with the instructions given at the competitors briefing.

  13. CONDUCT
    Any competitor who fails to comply with instructions or is considered to be riding/driving or behaving in a reckless and/or dangerous manner, or in a manner liable to cause a nuisance or injury, anywhere on the site of an event at any time will be penalised by the Organisers/Clerk of the Course. Riders/Drivers are responsible for the behaviour of all persons associated with them at an event. The use of paddock bikes is restricted to officials and those retrieving machines from the braking area, the rider/driver MUST wear a Helmut. Children MUST not run, cycle, or use skateboards. Wheelies, Burnouts and excessive speed in non-racing areas and at non racing times are prohibited.

  14. NUMBERS
    Competitor numbers will be issued at signing on. These must be applied to the vehicle, so they are clearly visible to the start line official/ timekeeper. Example- front or right-hand side of vehicle.

  15. HELMETS
    A full face helmet with BS 6658-A/B, UN ECE Reg 22 ECE 22-05 or Above, Snell M2005/ M2010 markings must be worn by all competitors whilst riding/ driving. Refer to section 14 of the NORA 92 code of practice for further details. Open face or modified helmets are prohibited.

  16. CLOTHING
    All motorcycle riders must have full leathers or two-piece suits that Zip together for 3/4 of the waist band. Boots must be of leather or similar construction with a minimum height of 200mm. Gloves must be of leather or similar construction. No areas of exposed skin to be left exposed between the wrist or ankle of the race suit. Back protectors MUST be worn. These can be separate if not part of the race leathers. Chest protectors are highly recommended. Refer to section 8.2 of the NORA Sprint regulations for further details.

  17. MACHINE SAFETY
    It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure a machine and equipment used in competition is mechanically and structurally in a safe condition and fit for the intended purpose.

  18. WET TRACK
    If the track is wet, racing will be continued at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. Competitors MUST decide on the suitability of the Course conditions for their machine.

  19. FUEL
    Any type of petrol is permitted. Nitro Methane, Methanol and Nitrous Oxide are allowed.
    All machines running Methanol MUST display an ORANGE DISC.
    All Machines running any percentage of Nitro Methane MUST display a RED TRIANGLE.
    Stickers are acceptable but MUST be at least 50mm and clearly visible. See Note 14 for clarification of visibility.

  20. JUNIORS
    The Junior competitors will have a rolling start into the timed quarter mile. The exact distance is to be determined by the Clerk of the Course so as not to exceed the NORA speed restriction of 81mph with an ET of 14.10 secs.
